Hi all
well I have to tell you I am super excited to be going to Spain next week for a few days
After an illness last month, hectic in work, then picking up a stomach bug, I really need the break
I am lucky that my family has an apartment in Spain, so we can book flights and go whenever we want
And honestly it’s cheaper and nicer than a weekend away in the UK
When I coach my clients I always ask them to focus on a dream and a goal, and picture this daily, along with doing small tasks to get you closer to your dream
Mine is to eventually go back to live in Spain
Move all of my business online and work just from a small studio out there in the sundream pic
So my inspiration picture I use as my screensaver on my phone, picture on my desk and in my bedroom, so I see it all of the time, is a house on the beach in the sun
What is your dream?
Do you visualize it enough?
Do you really want it?
Now please don’t get me wrong I am a realist and some things are more difficult than others to achieve, but difficult does NOT mean impossible
Never give up on a dream, because the time may not be quite right for it NOW, but one day it will be
I know I will be super excited for a whole week now, waiting to go back to my 2nd home
Waiting to see my fantastic group of friends I have there, and people I call my 2nd family
Life in Spain is so much slower, calmer and peaceful
As I have gotten older, my priorities in life have changed
Yes I will always strive to do well, as that’s in my nature and I love what I do, so I want to excel at that
But sometimes here in the UK it is so easy to become part of the rat race
Everything steaming ahead 100 miles an hour
I now feel I want a calmer more peaceful life
Meditation, yoga, rest and relaxation are now a massive part of my life, and daily routine
Whereas, upto 5 years ago, I only wanted hard, fast, strong, heavy in everything I did in my life
After being coached myself, and becoming a coach, I now believe having a peaceful mind, therefore a peaceful life is much more important than competing with the rat race
So many people work their butts off all of their lives, for the nice house, nice car, several holidays a year
Yet they miss out on all the important things along the way
I have realised that I don’t want to do that
I want to appreciate and experience every single day, every single person I meet and every new experience that comes my way
I want to spend quality time with the important people in my life and I want them to know how much I love them in the things I do and how I make them feel
I want to look back on my life being able to say I am happy with how I lived, loved and laughed
So what makes you feel this way?
Are you truly happy with your life the way it is?
Are there things you want to do, places you want to go and goals you want to achieve, that you put off as you think they are impossible?
Well they are not!
Life is short enough, live it the way YOU want to, doing what makes you happy, with the people you love around you
if chasing a high flying career, where you earn a huge wage and buy all the fancy things you ever dreamed of, makes you happy then go for it
Just be sure you don’t miss out on all the little things that made up your life along the way
So all that said, I will be thinking of you all, drinking a corona on my balcony next week, watching the sunshine and dreaming of my future
Limitless love
