So today is pancake day…….yummy!!!
Now if you’re like me there is nothing nicer than hot pancakes with Nutella on, however that is a treat and as it’s mid week and I had a few little treats at the weekend. I am going to be very good today and have pancakes but healthy ones, which are super scrummy.
Please give them a go guys, stay away from the refined sugar in normal pancakes, remember a healthy lifestyle means making small changes and being consistent with them.
Here’s a fab recipe for chocolate protein pancakes…..enjoy!!!!!
Chocolate protein pancakes:
Ingredients:
- 30g oats
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 scoop protein powder
- 1/2 tsp cocoa powder
- 1tbsp coconut oil
- Directions:
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl
- Heat oil in a pan
- pour the mixture into the pan and shape
- Sprinkle raspberries and blueberries over the top to add colour and favour
