Hi guys, thought I’d pop a nice healthy chocolate treat recipe on for you as it is Easter weekend. These cookies are scrummy so make a big batch and stay away from the Easter eggs 😉 ENJOY!!!!20140418_210240

Makes 1 dozen cookies

2/3 cup cocoa powder

1/4 cup almond butter

1/4 cup of Stevia

1/2 a cup of vanilla protein powder

1 egg

2 tbs unsweetened almond milk

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp sea salt

Almond flakes

Preheat oven to 220 degrees and line a baking tray with grease proof paper. Mix all the dry ingredients into a bowl, until combined well. Slowly add the almond butter, egg and milk and mix until a thick doughy texture. Using your hands, roll small cookie shapes and place on the tray. Use almond flakes to make the crosses. Bake in the oven for 12 minutes.
