I entered 25 of my clients along with myself to complete the Swansea Race for Life July 21st, in aid of Cancer Research. It was a fantastic day, weather was beautiful and it is a great day where we all pull togethere as a team to raise money for such a great cause.

Everyone did so well, from the runners, to the walkers. A big massive congratulations to Nicola Jones who came third overall in the whole race. What an achievement from Nicola. who has been training with me now for 2 years. Having lost over 4 stone and changing her body shape completely with a huge fat loss. Nicola’s fitness, strength and flexibility have all improved hugely. In fact, Nicola’s whole lifestyle has changed. Her hard work and determination has paid off. Well done Nicola.

Another client of mine Diane Davies walked the race for life course and completed it in just over an hour which was fantastic. Diane has been a client of mine for a year now and when she first came to me she couldn’t even do her shoe laces up herself. Diane struglled with everyday life due to her weight problem,

diane even on induction at Shapes Diane struggled to get on 4 machines, so we avoided these for the first few months. Once Diane started losing inches and body fat her fitness and flexibility improved massively. Diane went from being a very shy insecure person who was very nervouse to even attend the gym on her own, attending only with a friend, to a confident lady who now gets the bus to shapes on her own every day, follows all my nutritional advice and exercises 5 times a week. Diane is a huge part of our Shapes family and we are all so proud of her.

Diane walked the Race for Life in memory of her late Dad and dressed up in pink wig and tutu, along with her Team Shapes t-shirt. She thouroughly enjoyed the whole day even coming out for some food and drinks after the event with the rest of us. I am so proud of Diane for her huge achievement. It is so rewarding for me to see ladies like Diane improve their whole life with my help. Seeing her cross the finish line brought a tear to my eye.

Believe me anyone can do whatever they want to do they just have to have the courage to start.

Well done Team Shapes
